I saw this kind of post at Sometimes Sweet and thought I would give it a try here.

READING //  I have three books currently in progress:

Wearing God by Lauren Winner
For The Love by Jen Hatmaker
Ordinary: Sustainable Faith in a Radical, Restless World by Michael Horton

EATING //  Goat cheese spread on pretzel crisps. Guys, it's gotten out of control. I can't stop.

THINKING ABOUT //  I have been feeling sad that one year ago I ran a half-marathon and this year I am no where close to that. It's crazy how quickly you can lose months and months of endurance training. But October is a fantastic month to run and enjoy the weather. So I'm just running without any expectations of pace or distance. I'm also back at Barre classes this month and it feels great. On another note, I'm having a hard time with the fact that my youngest child is about to turn 6 this month. For some reason turning 5 didn't feel as painful. And I have LOVED every moment of age five and I just don't want to let it go!

LOOKING FORWARD TO //  Hosting several mini sessions for family portraits! The end of October is the absolute best time for family portraits because the leaves are gorgeous and the photos are done just in time to get them ready for Christmas Cards. I love building my little photography portfolio. If you're local to Chester County, Pennsylvania and would like to schedule a session, you can find all the info here.

ENJOYING //  Everything October! Mums and pumpkins on my porch, fall scented candles burning, using the crockpot, and wearing my favorite jeans and boots.

LEARNING //  The book of Acts. My small group is doing an in-depth study this semester and I am learning so much about the history of the church and the work of the Holy Spirit. It's fascinating. And so fundamental. I'm glad I have a group of fun women to study and discuss this with.
