New Post at Thrive Moms // Be You, Bravely
Tuesday, September 16, 2014
I'm over at Thrive Moms today talking about how to embrace the Mom I am meant to be and let go of comparing myself to other Moms who may do something better than I can. After 7 years of motherhood, I am finally being me...bravely, and without feeling inadequate.
As you'll read in the post, I note a few motherly things I am awesome at, and a few I totally suck at.
For example ....
I despise baking with my children. But I love art projects.
I am not a fun mom in the winter. But I am a really fun mom in the summer!
I do not enjoy talking about Math & Spelling. But I love talking about God.
I hate reading out loud to them (Yes, I said it. I hate it.). But I love singing and dancing with them.
I am not organized. Like, at.all. But I will wake them up early just to cuddle before school and make them a hot breakfast.
What are your strengths as a Mom? What are you not so great at? Let's just be honest. :)
Head on over to read lots more and find encouragement to be the Mom you're designed to be. Because your children love you exactly the way you are!
