Reading & Listening // For Your Weekend

Friday, February 21, 2014

Thanks to everyone who responded to my post earlier this week about feeling a bit invisible.  I got a lot of feedback that I'm not the only one feeling this way.  And although I hate that a lot of us women are struggling with this, it's always nice to hear the words "me too."

I was referred to a few blog posts this week with similar themes and I thought I would share them here in case they bring some of you encouragement.  They sure did for me.

The Impact We Have via (in)courage

And if you're looking for some new-to-you blogs to peruse for encouragement on all things love, life, and faith, check out this list that my beautiful friend Kerrie has put together.

And finally, for a music recommendation for your weekend, you must check out Ellie Holcomb's new album "As Sure As the Sun".  I became a fan after seeing this video of her singing acapella in Ethiopia.  It gives me chills how music can be such a bridge that joins all of humanity, regardless of language.

Have a great weekend.
