Welcome to Pennsylvania // An Influence Network Linkup

Wednesday, June 12, 2013

Today I am joining my fellow Influence Network members in a linkup talking about the cities that we live in!  The blogging community is such an amazing thing... it makes the world seem a bit smaller when you have friends all over the country.  I am looking forward to seeing all the cities represented today.

If you're stopping by for the first time today, my name is Bri and welcome to Pennsylvania!  I live in Chester County, which is just outside of Philadelphia.  Here I get the benefit of being close to a major city, but far enough away to enjoy the feel of a small town and some wide open spaces.

I instagram my world constantly @SheIsWoven.

Within just a few miles we've got rolling hillsides, world renown Botanical Gardens, 200-year-old Estates, fabulous restaurants, charming Bed & Breakfasts, and we even have several Vineyards and Wineries.  And if we want a taste of the city life, we just drive 30 minutes to Philly.

And as much as I complain about the cold winters, I do love the fact that we get to fully experience all four seasons here.  With each passing year, I am more and more captivated by the beauty of this little corner of the world.

Although this place now has a piece of my heart, I wasn't born here.  I am, however a lifelong East Coast girl.  I grew up in a cute little town called Broadway, Virginia (just outside of Harrisonburg).  It gave me a deep love of the simple things in life.

Thanks for stopping by this part of the tour!  So glad you're here!  Head over to the Influence Blog to see more of bloggers participating today.

  2. Your pictures are gorgeous! We have cold winters here in Indiana, too...but I do enjoy all 4 seasons (now that our daughter is old enough to play in the snow!) If you can't play in the snow though, I'd much rather it be one of the other 3 seasons! :) Nice to meet you in the link up!

  7. Oh, Pennsylvania! Great state. I have family in Boalsburg, near State College. We drive up there, as I live in Northern Kentucky, and it's always so beautiful. :) We visited Philly once while I was up there. Actually one of my favorite photos of me and two of my siblings was taken there a few years back. :) I love having all four seasons, too. There's beauty to be found in each one.

I'm Kristin, by the way! Nice to meet you via Influence! :)

    1. Thanks so much for stopping by Moriah! You are so right. I certainly do enjoy Spring & Summer so much more because of the winters. Isn't that a great spiritual analogy too? :)

  14. I have never been to PA but as a Texas girl, I LOVE the fact that there is greenery in your pictures and you have all four normal seasons instead of "Kinda Hot, REALLY HOT, not quite as hot, and let's pretend it's cold". It looks beautiful there, I can't wait to read more from you and I love having a mental picture of the world you're writing in! :)
