Noonday Collection

Tuesday, May 7, 2013

Today I'm so honored and excited to tell you about an amazing company called Noonday Collection. They sell fair-trade jewelry, accessories and fun items for your home, all handmade in Africa.

Noonday's mission is to create sustainable work for people in an economy that struggles to survive in desperate poverty.  "Our passion at Noonday Collection is to connect you with the lives of artisans struggling for a better future while styling you along the way. Fashion and design are a vehicle for opportunity and change. You, too, can be a voice for the oppressed!"

I truly adore every single piece of jewelry they offer!  I have such a passion to support companies working to make real change in the world.  Above I am honored to be wearing the Olivia Necklace, which was made in Uganda.  It's the perfect accent to all my spring and summer outfits.  And my new favorite earrings are pictured above as well.  They are the Metallic Halo earrings and were made by refugees of Burma who are currently rebuilding their lives in States with the help of Noonday.

If you are looking for some fun and colorful jewelry to add to your collection this season, please click here to view their whole collection and read about how lives have been changed.  Or, please contact my friend Tracey Dugan to place an order!

Photos of the Olivia Necklace were taken by Jamye Doefler.
