Next up on my Favorite Social Media Follows list is P I N T E R E S T!

I know Pinterest is often associated with feelings of inadequacy, comparison, discontentment, and flat out exhaustion.  But it really can be a place of great inspiration.  And in my experience, can spark some serious productivity.

My basic strategy is to take it all with a grain of salt and never jump into Pinterest with an attitude of needing to DO or BUY or BE anything other than what I already am.  When I go in with that attitude, it becomes a place to have fun and be inspired rather than feel the need to pin all the things!

With that in mind, here are a few of my favorite boards.  These include everything from recipes, to fashion, to pretty photography.  Enjoy!

The Nester - Loving Your Home & Interior Design Ideas

Darling Magazine - Inspiring Photography

Jordan Brantley / Create Like Crazy - Creative Inspiration and Design

The Tiny Twig - Blogging / Business / Entreprenuership

A Place To Dwell - Life Inspiration / Pursuing your Passion

SkinnyTaste - Healthy Recipes

Young House Love - Affordable Interior Design & DIY

KK McKenzie - Lifestyle / Decor / Motherhood

Ashley Stock / Little Miss Momma - Inspirational Quotes

Stitch Fix - Fashion & Outfit ideas (my favorite board is the one called "Casual Chic")

And I happen to love my own board called Kids Crafts & Activities because I keep it full of fun ideas and boredom busters.  I refer to it often.

Are you looking to lighten up your social media feeds?  Are you feeling the need to weed out the negativity and add some encouragement to your online consumption?  I'm covering all my favorite follows that keep me inspired and uplifted.  See my favorites on Instagram and Twitter as well.

  1. I've fallen in love with Pinterest lately. :) It's become my happy place! Who needs decorating magazines when you have a wealth of gorgeous ideas right at your fingertips! I'll have to go and look up those people you suggested, it's so fun finding new inspiration.

    1. I agree! I just referred to it this morning when my daughter wanted to try a new art project!
